TUTORIAL FOR REGISTERING A NEW ACCOUNT


There are 2 options of registering on BiteFight:
- normal (you will be brought into the game by an Elder)
- over the bitelink (that way you can be brought into being by a friend)



1. THE "NORMAL" REGISTRATION

1.1. First of all go to http://bitefight.org.


Now i will explain the main screen a little. On the left side you will se a menu:


Help - here you can find the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Register - if you click here you will register on one of the servers of bitefight.org
Login - after you have registered you can login to your profile here
Board - link to the official bitefight.org board
Highscore - if you click here you will see the highscore list for server 1

1.2. Since we want to register click on "Register".
The first step is to chose a race. You can choose between Vampires and Werewolves. Click on the logo of the race you wish to be:


1.3. Now you must enter some information:


1.4. If you register the normal way you will register on a random server, but if you want to join a specific server you will have to change the url address:


Each server is marked different. They are marked: s1, s2, s3...s8. If you for example end up on the registration site for server 6, like on the picture, but you would like to register on server 8, just change the s6 in your url to s8 and press "Enter" on the keyboard.
OR
You can just visit one of the links for the race you wish to be on the server you want to play:

1.5. Now you'll end up on the registration page for server 8 and will have to enter some information:

Choose your name - your ingame and login name
Password - the password for your account
Your e-mail address - a valid e-mail address (you will have to confirm your account later so make sure it's a valid address)
Terms and Conditions acceptance - read the T&C's and if you agree to them check the box and if you don't agree you can't register
Your friend - if you have a friend on the server you are about to register you can enter his ingame name here and you will be brought into being by him (NOTE: you will be the same race as him if you chose to register over him), otherwise you just leave this empty

1.6. When you entered everything just press the "send" button on the bottom of the page.
A screen like this will appear:


In this example i have registered on server 6 under the name testinga and noone brought me into being.
Now click on "proceed here" and you will be taken to your account.

1.7. When you are there you will se such a message:


Click on "settings" in this message and then in the next screen "click here to register". You will receive a Activation email to you email account. Check it and click on the activation link.

CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR ACCOUNT IS ACTIVATED AND YOU CAN START TO PLAY NOW.


2. THE "BITELINK REGISTRATION"

If you want to play on the same server and in the same race as your friend and you would like to later on join his clan the easiest way is to register over your friends bitelink. The bitelink can be found in the "Overview" screen:


2.1. Your friend just needs you to sent or tell you that link and then you just visit in with your browser. You will end up on such a screen:


2.2. Click on "Become a werewolf/vampire too by registering here" and you will end up on the registration screen with the difference that the server of your friend will be chose and that his name is already in the "Your friend" field:


2.2. Fill out the form like described in section 1.5:

Choose your name - your ingame and login name
Password - the password for your account
Your e-mail address[ - a valid e-mail address (you will have to confirm your account later so make sure it's a valid address)
Terms and Conditions acceptance - read the T&C's and if you agree to them check the box and if you don't agree you can't register

2.3. When you entered everything just press the "send" button on the bottom of the page.
